Nicholas Dematte-Winston joined MMG in 2018 and his practice focuses on Labor Law, Premises and Automobile litigation. He handles all aspects of litigation from inception through trial and appeal. Nicholas has secured several trial victories and has also had much success in mediations and other forms of ADR. He gained invaluable trial learning experience from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy which he believes has helped him to obtain defense verdicts for MMG’s clients. Nicholas is extremely detail oriented in all facets of his investigation and defense as he understands the importance of planning in order to strategically and effectively tell his client’s story. His no-nonsense "get it done" approach is always cloaked in a warm and welcoming smile, as he thrives on the challenge of juggling several cases at once to conquer each opponent. It is this winning combination that leads him to succeed both in the courtroom and outside the courtroom. Nicholas’ has-to-win attitude drives him in going to whatever lengths are necessary in order to zealously defend his clients. In the litigation of his cases, he believes that “if you fail to plan, you plan to fail”.  

Nicholas obtained his J.D. from Hofstra University in 2017. He was admitted to the NY Bar in 2018. He has participated in and taught at the National Institute of Trial Advocacy (“NITA”).
