Gene Novak joined McMahon, Martine & Gallagher LLP in 2020, where he focuses on labor law cases and premises cases. Gene, originally from Ukraine, began his career in 2011 as a corporate attorney where he focused on risk evaluations, contractual issues and other commercial issues. In 2013, Gene seamlessly transitioned into personal injury litigation in New York City where his corporate experience offered him added insight into construction accident cases and particularly the defense of owners and general contractors. Equipped with this unique perspective, Gene aggressively defends his cases from inception through conclusion. Gene is efficient, effective, results-oriented and easy to work with. Gene earned his LLM from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2015. He earned a Master of Law degree and Bachelor of Law degree from Dnepropetrovsk National University in Ukraine. Gene was admitted to practice in New York State in 2016. He speaks Russian and Ukrainian.
