Originally from Birmingham, England, Gary Healy originally joined McMahon, Martine & Gallagher in 2001 as an intern and later returned to MMG, where he now manages the firm’s Immigration department, and oversees the firm’s toxic tort matters.
Gary has represented many well-known actors, musicians and dancers, as well as many large corporations in a number of business immigration matters. Gary has also represented many individuals in a number of family-based immigration matters. Gary’s work in the field of immigration has received awards and recognition from the Irish American Bar Association of New York, as well as the Irish Voice. Based upon his own personal experiences immigrating to the United States, Gary brings a unique and sympathetic insight and understanding to our clients' questions and concerns. In addition to his vast experience in immigration, Gary also has extensive experience litigating toxic tort matters, both within NYCAL and acting as national counsel.
Gary graduated from the prestigious law school at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, with an honors degree in the Law of the European Union.
Gary Healy is admitted to practice law in the New York State Courts and in the U.S. District Courts, Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Gary is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), AILA New York Chapter, American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, New York Brehon Law Society, and the Irish American Bar Association of New York.
